Sepehr ~ When Heavy Hearts Learn to Look Up

There are moments in life
when everything seems perfectly fine
yet something inside feels broken.

Words start to sting.
Relationships feel like a burden.
And understanding yourself becomes the hardest thing to do.

When the heart feels heavy,
even breathing feels like weight.
A person grows quiet
to finally hear their own soul.

That was where Arzen found himself.
An evening in Shiraz.
The air was slightly cool.
The city moved at its usual pace
but the world of the soul was awake.

Arzen stood on the rooftop.
He had put his phone aside
away from the noise, away from the screen.

And then…

When a Child Asked, and Heaven Answered ~ The Story Behind Sepehr

A child’s voice rose from the street below.
Arzen paused, listening carefully.
The boy held his father’s hand and asked:

“Baba… Qari Sahib said that the Prophet ﷺ used to look toward the sky again and again… why?”

The father placed a gentle hand on his son’s head and said softly:

“My son… when the heart grows heavy,
a person looks up
toward the sky.
Because peace comes from there.”
The boy asked again, innocently:

“And Allah changed his direction, didn’t He?”

The father smiled, explaining tenderly:

“Yes, my son.
The first Qiblah was Bayt al-Maqdis.
But the longing in the Prophet’s ﷺ heart was for the Ka‘bah
the House built by his forefather, Ibrahim (علیہ السلام).
He never complained.
He simply looked toward the sky.
And when a person looks to their Lord with sincerity,
Allah Himself changes their direction.”

In that moment, Arzen’s heart was listening.

The Ayah That Changed Arzen’s Destiny

قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا

“We have certainly seen your face turning toward the heaven,
so We will surely turn you to a Qiblah that will please you.”

              (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:144)
The Prophet ﷺ did not ask people for answer
he chose the sky as his response.
And Arzen understood

"People don’t show you the way "
  Allah does.
