A Gift Beyond This World

Love does not end with life. It transcends time, space, and even death. The truest form of love is one that continues to benefit those we cherish—even when they are no longer with us.
But have you ever wondered—
can our love still reach those who have left this world?
Beyond Life: A Gift That Keeps Giving
This is the story of a young boy who had lost his mother, yet his love for her remained as strong as ever.
Hassan sat in a corner of the mosque, tears streaming down his face. It had been a year since his mother passed away, but every morning, he still wished to see her smile, taste the breakfast she made, and hear her heartfelt prayers. But now, there was only emptiness, a void nothing could fill.
Then, he remembered something his grandfather used to say:
"True love is not just in memories; it is in actions."
Hassan wondered, "What can I do for my mother? Should my love for her be limited to just memories?"
That night, as he lay in bed, he recalled a verse he had read in the Quran:
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” (Surah Al-Baqarah:186)
The words struck his heart deeply. Allah was near, always listening, always watching. His thoughts raced as another verse came to mind:
“Do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another?” (Surah Al-Mulk: 3)
Hassan realized that his good deeds would not just stay on Earth—they would rise through the seven heavens, reaching the highest realm, the Throne of Allah.
Determined, he made a decision: from now on, he would do acts of kindness for his mother—not just after her passing, but while he was still alive. Because a child's love for their parents is not limited to this world; it is an ongoing charity, a source of endless blessings for them both in life and after death.

Good Deeds That Reach the Throne
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
"When a person dies, their deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them." (Muslim)
Hassan left the mosque and went straight to a madrasa. There, he donated a Quran in his mother’s name. He planted a tree, fed a needy person, and that night, in his prayers, he whispered:
"Ya Allah, this is all for my mother. Please deliver this reward to her."
That night, he had a dream. He saw his mother standing in a beautiful garden, smiling with a radiant glow.
"My son, the gift you sent has reached me."
Hassan woke up, tears in his eyes, but his heart felt at peace. Now, he knew that his love was not just a memory—it was a bridge between this world and the next.

Was Your Gift of Goodness Accepted?
Allah's system is beyond human understanding. When a child prays for their parents or performs good deeds on their behalf, those acts rise through the seven heavens and reach them.
According to a hadith, when a believer in Paradise is granted a higher rank, they ask:
"O Allah, how did I receive this?"And the reply comes: "Through the prayers and good deeds of your child."
SubhanAllah! Imagine if we dedicated even one small act of kindness daily to our parents—how much love, mercy, and blessings would reach them?
The Seven Heavens in the Light of the QURAN?
Allah has mentioned the seven heavens multiple times in the Quran. Each one holds its own mysteries and significance:
First Heaven: The realm of the stars, moon, and sun.
Second Heaven: A place where angels reside in constant worship.
Third Heaven: The station of Angel Jibreel (AS).
Fourth Heaven: A realm filled with divine light.
Fifth Heaven: A heavenly garden of purity.
Sixth Heaven: A vast sea of divine radiance.
Seventh Heaven: The highest realm, home to the Throne of Allah (Arsh-e-Mola).
When we perform a good deed, it ascends through these heavens, finally reaching Allah’s Throne. Every act of kindness, every prayer, every sadaqah done in our parents' name has an impact beyond this world.
The Greatest Expression of Love
Love is not just an emotion—it is an action that lasts beyond this world. True love is not just remembering someone; it is ensuring their journey in the afterlife is filled with light and blessings.
But now, the question is:
This Ramadan, what are you doing for your parents?
