And with it:
Lights in every home
Crowded markets
Endless phone notifications
And in the heart… a strange quiet joy
The scent of mehndi, planning new clothes, selfies, laughter…
Everything feels perfect.
But in this noise, a silent question rises:
Do you even know what this night truly is?
Laylatul Jā’izah The Night of Rewards
The scholars call this night:
Laylatul Jā’izah The Night of Rewards
This is the night when:
The journey of Ramadan comes to an end
And Allah grants His servants reward and acceptance
The meaning of the narration:
“When the night of Eid-ul-Fitr arrives, it is called Laylatul Jā’izah… and in the morning people are given their rewards along with forgiveness.”
Meaning…
👉 Your 30 days of effort
👉 Your spiritual struggle
👉 Your quiet, hidden duas
Are decided tonight.
But Today’s Chand Raat…
Let’s be honest and a bit uncomfortable:
Today:
Chand Raat = Shopping
Chand Raat = Mehndi
Chand Raat = Late-night outings
And worship?
👉 “We’ll do it tomorrow…”
👉 “I’m too tired…”
👉 “Just after a little break…”
And then…
The night slips away.
You turned this night into:
✔ a celebration
❌ but lost the connection
What Does the Qur’an Say?
Allah says:
“وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185)
Translation:
“So that you complete the period of fasting,
and glorify Allah for guiding you,
and so that you may be grateful.”
👉 Notice:
Allah linked Eid with gratitude
Not fashion
Not shopping
Not parties
Just… shukr.
The Most Important Duas for Tonight
This night is closure.
Not fancy wording just real, honest duas.
🌙 1. Dua for Acceptance
“O Allah, accept from us… and accept our repentance.”
🌙 2. Istighfar — Admit Your Shortcomings
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
“I seek Allah’s forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance.”
🌙 3. Dua to Keep the Heart Firm
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ
“O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.”
Hadith Reminder A Reality Check
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, his past sins are forgiven.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
So think…
If Allah promised forgiveness…
Then tonight should be:
- About Netflix?
- Or about sujood?
Arzen’s Chand Raat The Quiet Inside
It’s late at night.
Outside there is noise
laughter, cars, celebration.
Inside… silence.
Arzen sits in his room.
Lights dim.
Phone on silent.
The Qur’an is in front of him… but he hasn’t opened it yet.
There is only one question circling in his mind:
“Was my Ramadan accepted?”
He remembers:
the prayers he missed
the fasts where niyyah felt weak
the moments his heart wandered
His chest feels heavy.
Tears gather not enough to break him,
just enough to make him bow.
He slowly raises his hands…
“Ya Allah… I wasn’t perfect.
But I wasn’t far from You either.
Please… don’t reject me.”
And maybe…
This is the very moment
when a servant is accepted.
The Truth We Avoid
Most people tonight are:
busy
distracted
or simply enjoying
And they forget:
- This is the Reward Night
- This is the Acceptance Night
One Brutal Truth
Even if you:
missed Laylatul Qadr
didn’t have a perfect Ramadan
Still…
Tonight could be
your last chance.
Wasting it?
That’s real loss.
Final Dua (From the Heart)
Ya Allah…
If I fell short this Ramadan, forgive me.
If I did anything good, accept it from me.
And make this Chand Raat:
- a true Laylatul Jā’izah for me
- not just another night
Ameen.
One Request
If this blog touched your heart…
Remember me in your duas.
Maybe one dua from you
becomes my reason for acceptance.
